I worked as the studio director for the first episode of Slaidishow and as the producer for the second episode. Slaidishow is a talk show created and produced by my class, where we practice working in multi-camera production and organizing a talk show. The topic of Slaidishow 1 was Paranormal Phenomena, and Slaidishow 2 focused on Oulu’s culture.
As the studio director, I was responsible for the direction of Slaidishow 1, along with the main director. While the director was in the control room, I conveyed their advice and instructions to the hosts and the rest of the team during rehearsals and the actual show. I made sure that all the cameramen had cue sheets to follow the progress of the show. Additionally, during the live show, I directed the hosts on which camera to look at and which camera was capturing the footage at any given moment.

As the producer, I was responsible for the team’s operations and ensuring that the pre-production preparations for the show progressed on schedule. Additionally, I arranged the equipment for the team for the show, created the shot lists, and Call Sheets.
I collaborated with the head editor to create the shot list and distributed it to the rest of the team. For Slaidishow 2, I planned the shot list, including the schedule for the live broadcast, the duration of different scenes, when title cards appear on the screen, and what is seen and heard during the live broadcast at specific times.
I planned the Call Sheets for the show week from Monday to Thursday, which included the daily schedules. The Call Sheets specify the times, what happens at each time, and how long each activity lasts.
